Is It A Baby Boy?? Or A Baby Girl??

Thursday was a big day for us...we had our 20 week ultrasound that told us if our baby was a boy or a girl! Oh man, we had been counting down the days and were SOO excited when it was finally here.

I picked Dave up at work, and we drove into Salt Lake to the Dr.'s office. We were really anxious to get in there and find out! Our doctor was super nice, and he showed us all kinds of pictures of the baby. It was incredible to me that with a little non-invasive technology, we could see our baby's brain, heart, heart-beat, liver, kidneys, bladder, spine, and a lot of its bones. Isn't that crazy!?!? We could see it kicking and rolling around on the screen, which was totally weird for me because I haven't felt anything. We saw it kick and punch, and yet I didn't feel a single thing. My pregnancy has gone so smoothly that it's kind of strange to me when I think that there's something moving and living inside of me because I don't feel any different (except that I have to go to the bathroom a lot, which is new for me). It was just amazing for us to see our little one for the first time. It made the whole thing seem very real to me, much more real than it has felt before.

After what seemed like FOREVER, the doctor FINALLY got to telling us if it was a little boy or a little girl. We made a little video to announce it, and you'll have to watch it to see for yourself. :)

We are SOO excited to have our little one join us in November!! We can't wait to meet you!!
