Odds & Ends of July

So...July was a pretty crazy month for us!! We had a lot of things going on, and we did lots of really fun things. To summarize...

GIRL'S CAMP!

Aren't these girls CUTE!? I love them so so much. 

Our theme for camp was D.O.T.S. - Depend On The Savior. Every ward was a different color of polka dots. We were the pale pink polka dots.

FOURTH OF JULY DINNER/FIREWORKS

Dinner with our friends Jackie and Lane. Jackie was my mentor teacher when I student taught 1st grade. She is the most wonderful teacher I know and I learned so much from her. She is the perfect teacher and the perfect mentor. I feel really lucky to have learned from her.

BEAR LAKE

I loved this one because of the water arc around the wakeboard! Cool! 

The water was FREEZING. Lauren's face tells all.

Dave was 'practicing' feeding a baby. He said he needed to learn how eventually! Haha. Does he look ready for a baby or what!?

Dave and Robert. Robert is from Spain, and Dave baptized him while on his mission. Robert didn't love the wakeboard, but he LOVED the tube. When climbing back into the boat, he said he had found his new favorite sport.

Vickie and I took a granny ride on the tube and had the time of our lives!!

Somehow Dave was the only person who didn't fall off the water weenie. Look how excited he is!

We finished up the trip with milkshakes at La Beau's. A trip to Bear Lake wouldn't be complete without a raspberry shake!

DINNER WITH FRIENDS

Landes and Marie were in town on their way to Columbia! Landes got accepted into law school there. We had dinner with them at Cafe Rio. It was a very fun night, and we are really proud and excited for Landes and Marie! Good luck in New York! We will miss you.
