Dave's Little "Number"

So...awhile back, and I really mean awhile back, Dave and I went to the 24th of July pioneer/veteran's celebration concert at the conference center. The Mormon Tabernacle Choir was performing with guest artist Brian Stokes Mitchell. If any of you don't know who he is, shame on you. He is one of the most talented singers of all time! He was in the original broadway cast of Ragtime and of Kiss Me Kate. He has a phenomenal singing voice, and is so incredibly talented. The concert was amazing and Dave and I could have stayed to hear him sing for hours.

I first heard of him when I was young, because he is the singing voice of Jethro in the movie the Prince of Egypt, and he sings the song "Through Heaven's Eyes". That was my favorite song of the entire show and I went through a phase where I was obsessed - literally obsessed - with that song. I would play it over and over and over. I found out after I was married to Dave for a while, that he loved that song too! We have been dying to see him sing it live, and we are going to get a chance on October 7! He is performing at the BYU Spectacular and will be singing Through Heaven's Eyes. I can hardly wait! To show his excitement for the upcoming event, (and also in celebration of the wonderful 24th of July concert), Dave decided to do his own little number in our living room, dancing and lip syncing to our very favorite song. I would say he's pretty close to the ranks of Brian Stokes Mitchell!!!  See for yourself.

Try to ignore my laughing in the background. I was trying to keep it in, but it just kept slipping out!!

My cute, talented, funny, wonderful, awesome husband. He makes me laugh and smile every single day, and I love him more and more every day too.

October 7th, here we come!! Only 29 more days!!
