Okay, so don't worry that this guy graduated 3 weeks ago and this is the first second I've had to write a blog post about it. Our lives have been absolutely and totally CRAZY! But, we had SUCH a fun day and I am so proud of him! He has worked really hard for his degree, especially this last semester. We spent lots of evenings tucked away in our study while he worked on homework and I read, just so I could still be by him. I will actually miss that a little bit, believe it or not. It was kind of cozy, just the two of us. But, now Dave is a full blown Master of Gerontology and I couldn't be more proud of him!
Isn't he just the cutest??
Outside of Kingsbury Hall, where his graduation was held
Dave's Dad and step-mom came to see!
And so did his Mom and step-dad and sister. It was a fun-filled family day!
Standing by this U turned out a little more cheesy than I would have hoped, but kind of cool.
After the graduation ceremony, Dave's parents took us out to dinner at the Lion House! It was SO tasty! I ate some chicken crepes (it was totally brave of me to try something new!) and they were really, really good! I was proud of me for trying something new.
Dave and I were actually house sitting for my parents while they were in Ireland, so while we were out at dinner, I had my little sister Stephanie decorate the house for us with some decorations I picked up. She did a great job, and the house looked SOO fun! We of course kept the decorations up all week!
The decorations were complete with a platter of Cutler's Cookies, some of which were consumed that very night! Dave's weakness is baked goods, and he certainly deserved them after the hard work it took to graduate!
Dave is enjoying his brownie marshmallow cookie
Dave, of course, after all the hard work and energy he spent working on graduating, told me the other day he wants to take ME out to buy ME something for putting up with him while he was in graduate school! Is he the best or what?? He is so thoughtful and so selfless...I definitely have the best husband in the whole entire world - hands down. I sure love him and I am SOO proud of him!
Congratulations Dave! I love you!
